Ways to Keep Yourself Organized

Keeping your life organized can sometimes be a difficult task. Life gets busy and it's so easy to forget things and feel like life is a jumbled mess in your mind. What I've learned from going through those times, is how key it is to find ways to manage your time and that helps you become more organized with every aspect of your life. Here are some of my ways to keep yourself organized.


Have a planning system
Whether you love to use your physical planner or your phone calendar, having somewhere to jot down important dates and tasks is the start of getting yourself organized. This can act as a type of visual representations of your weeks/months and what things you have coming up. Using these planning systems also gives you the space to write to-do lists and things to do on the daily.


Plan ahead
What's good about planning ahead is that you're being proactive when it comes to things you have to do and events you plan to go to. This saves you a lot of stress and time because you know about things ahead of time and already have them scheduled into your calendar. This also allows you to plan other events/tasks that may come up during your month based on all of the other things you have going on. Being able to see what you have coming up gives you something to look forward to each month and lets you see when certain weeks may be super busy and when other weeks may not be.


Know your dates
This one is probably obvious but knowing for sure your due dates for school or deadlines at work will keep your mind at ease. Knowing these important dates will keep you on track and like planning ahead, allow you to know what's coming up and gives you time to complete and prepare for those things. Having these dates set in stone allows you to start or prepare for those things with enough time to change anything that may come up while completing the task.
