IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream (Shade: Light)
This foundation has been my go-to throughout this year. I bought it in January and it has lasted me until
earlier this month. It’s the perfect everyday foundation that can vary in coverage depending on your preference. Definitely need to purchase a new one in the new year!

Glossier Boy Brow (Shade: Brown)
This is a more recent purchase but it has quickly become one of my favourite brow products.
Sometimes I don’t feel like filling in my eyebrows and having a product that fills it it for me without too
much effort is amazing.

Tarte Shape Tape (Shade: Light-Medium Honey)
It’s taken me a very long time to get my hands on this concealer and when I purchased it back in May it
has not left my makeup bag since. It’s a great concealer that provides really high coverage or just a little
bit, depending on what you want that day. For sure a holy grail for me!

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (Movie)
This was hands down one of my favourite movies this year. It was just so cute and made me feel all warm
and fuzzy inside. Peter and Lara Jean were the cutest couple ever and it was so amazing to see an Asian
female lead in a romcom. Can’t wait for the sequel!

THE HATE U GIVE (Movie)
This was also in my top movies of the year. The book is one of my favourites ever so I was super excited
about the movie adaptation. It definitely lived up to its hype and was a beautiful and empowering story
about the importance of family, gun violence, and standing up for your rights. A must-see for everyone.

The Daily (Podcast)
I always like to stay up with what’s going on in the world. Sometimes it’s hard for my to scroll through
the news. So I discovered the NY Times “The Daily” which talks about important news stories for that
day. It’s great to listen to on the way to school.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (Series)
I honestly thought I’d have more books to tell you all about but this year I immersed myself in the world
of Lara Jean Covey and I’m not sorry about it. (haha) This series is the definition of a YA novel and has
been one of the best series I’ve read in a while.

Music

Shawn Mendes by Shawn Mendes
Shawn’s album was incredible. His songs are so so good and to see his progress as an artist is truly an
amazing thing to see. His 2 grammy nominations are so deserved. Rooting for him this year!

Hiding Place by Tori Kelly
I’m not that into worshipy/gospel songs but somehow Tori managed to make me fall in love with the album.
Her voice is so beautiful and the messages of her songs really extend beyond faith and can resonate with
you in so many different ways.

Moments
end of first-year celebratory drinksssss

Finishing first-year
First-year of university was tough and a huge change for me. I’m so glad that I was able to finish it on a
positive note. I’ve made some of the coolest friends and have learned so much during one year.

West Coast Trip

Travelling to Vancouver has always been a place I’ve wanted to visit and going there this summer was an
amazing way to celebrate finishing first-year. The West Coast is so beautiful and there are so many more
things I want to see!

Cottage

At the end of the summer my family went up to a cottage and it was the first time we’d all done that which
was really fun. We spent the week on the lake, laughing, and eating too much. It was the best way to finish
off a great summer.

xoxo,

Meagan
